Genealogy

At the Business Meeting of our 77th Reunion (July 2007), a motion was made and carried that the Executive Committee will make the final decisions as to how, what, and when our genealogy will be published. All family members are invited to attend Executive Committee meetings to express their thoughts concerning this important issue. You may contact our Clewell Association President, JoAnn Heckman, at www.clewellfamily@entermail.net for details on dates and time of Executive Committee meetings.

Our goal is to publish the Clewell Genealogy on this website, behind a password-protected gate. We hope to have our Genealogy Webpage up and running by the next Clewell Reunion (August 2, 2008).

Want your Clewell genealogy?

Our genealogist can email you a PDF copy of your Clewell genealogy. The reports are sent in PDF format, since most computers are able to read these documents. (If your computer is unable to read these forms, enter ADOBE READER into your search engine, and follow the links to a free download.)

Click the button below and email your name, your parent's names, and your Clewell grandparent's names.

After the correct identification is made, you will receive:

1) A DESCENDANT REPORT, which begins with your Clewell grandparents (in some cases great grandparents) and shows their known descendants to the present day (some of this information is in great need of updating!).

2) An ANCESTOR REPORT, which begins with you, then traces your line back to the earliest known Clewells (Clavells).
